Contacts - Edouard Boubat (Roger Iklhef, 2009)

Édouard Boubat was born in Paris on September 13, 1923, and died in 1999. He took his first photographs between 1946 and 1950, including *Little Girl with Dead Leaves*. In 1950, *The Tree and the Hen*, his first photograph, was published in *Caméra* magazine. In 1951, he exhibited at La Hune gallery alongside Brassaï, Doisneau, Facchetti, and Izis. In 1984, Édouard Boubat received the Grand Prix National de la Photographie (National Grand Prize for Photography).
