A Unique Event in Boston Life:
A Professional Performance of Mozart’s Classic by Children
Mozart’s famous “Marriage of Figaro” opera will be performed by a unique group of brilliant artists - Children. This collaboration of tiny talents known as Young Talent Studio ”Lucky Ten”, has performed in Carnegie Hall and taken first place prizes in various international as well as national competitions including The Golden Voices of America.
Trained by opera singer Alexander Prokhorov and award winning choreographer, Anna Kravets, this young group carries a spectra of voices that have astonished audiences across the nation.
Singing the Italian Figaro classics, Lucky Ten will be accompanied by a professional symphony orchestra. All recitatives (piece of dialogue set to music) have been translated into English for the audience’s enjoyment with russian subtitles.
“Lucky Ten” is a children’s vocal and dance group with members hailing from Boston, Brookline, Brighton, Allston, Newton, Framingham, Sharon and other surrounding communities. This unprecedented ensemble delivers classic arias, Broadway favorites, folk songs and modern/contemporary pieces in 8 languages, which include English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Hebrew, and Yiddish.
Known for their ability to discover and evolve vocal and dance talents within others, Anna Kravets and Alexander Prokhorov have successfully coached hundreds of students. Their studio in Brighton, MA offers programs in vocal , ballet basics, acting, tap, music theory, acting as well as private lessons in vocal, song choreography and stage presentation.
